We're seeking a talented and motivated content manager passionate about managing a high-performing content team and overseeing the creation of quality content that drives organic traffic and engages our target audience. As Manager, you play a pivotal role in overseeing the creation and execution of high-quality content across multiple channels to support our brand and demand campaigns. This role requires strong project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for storytelling to drive engagement and enhance brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Planning and Management:
o Coordinate editorial calendars across PR, social media, and demand marketing initiatives to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment.
o Develop and maintain a structured content calendar for efficient planning and execution of content strategies.
o Synchronize content optimization efforts with SEO strategies to enhance visibility and discoverability across digital channels.
Content Effectiveness, Optimization and Quality Assurance:
o Ensure content accuracy, clarity, and consistency through rigorous editing and proofreading.
o Continuously measure content effectiveness, analyze data insights, and refine content strategies for continuous improvement.
o Enhance content visibility and accessibility by optimizing for search engines (SEO) and ensuring an intuitive user experience (UX).
o Monitor and analyze the performance of content initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Team Management and Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Lead and manage a team of content specialists to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content.
o Coordinate closely with Product Marketing teams to stay updated on competitors and personas, informing content strategy adjustments.
o Foster collaboration and engagement within the content creator/contributor ecosystem or community.
o Provide guidance and support to content specialists, including feedback on content quality and performance.
Market Landscape:
o Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to refine our content strategy continuously.
o Research and implement best content management and distribution practices to optimize workflows and processes.
Necessary Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, or related field.
5-7 years of proven experience in content writing or a related field and content management, preferably in a B2B environment.
2-3 years of team management experience. In a matrix global organization is desired.
A passion for storytelling and creating content that resonates with audiences.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated creativity in developing engaging content across different platforms.
Strong analytical skills to assess content performance and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market dynamics.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), using AI to support work, and using digital marketing tools is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with teams.
