$70,197.00 - $105,295.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSEESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Utilize highly advanced knowledge of data interpretation and analysis, report development, financial acumen and experience with federal programs and healthcare reimbursement methodologies to monitor analyze, interpret and summarize total-cost-of-care financial results across the organization’s portfolio of value-based contracts/programs.
Develop cost and utilization summary reports of performance, trends, and areas of opportunity.
Produce ad hoc analytics to support all areas of organization.
Meet with operational, clinical, and financial executive team on a regular basis to present analysis findings and identify high-value opportunities .
Evaluate potential new programs and initiatives for financial viability and associated risks to support strategic decisions.
Build annual medical expense budgets and quarterly forecasts for major risk-based arrangements.
Work closely with contracting team during negotiations with payors to assess financial impact of proposed changes.
Develop reports showing performance information for AHP’s external clients and other key stakeholders.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in finance functional area and 5 years relevant experience in a health care and/or University setting required
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred - Five years experience with health care data, including claims, fee schedules, Electronic Medical Record data (particularly EPIC), fee schedules, and quality measure variables.
Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities:
Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings of analyses in an understandable and actionable format.
Experience in analyzing government programs such as with CMS, CMMI, and others.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word) as well as SQL and report-writing and data visualization software (such as Tableau).
Experience in financial modeling.
Knowledge of key operating structures of integrated delivery systems and value-based payments, such as care management, risk contracting, and alternative payment methodologies.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
