This is a hybrid role based out of our Headquarters office in Portland, OR. In-office expectation is 3 days a week.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Brand Marketing team, we focus on our consumers’ behavior, and create experiences to build their connection to our brand. Whether it’s media strategy, brand/product storytelling, content creation or partner activations, the consumer is at the heart of everything we do. And we continue to stay true to our brand, even as we evolve to meet the demands of an ever-changing landscape.
As a Senior Media Specialist you will recommend, influence, and implement paid media strategies that position Columbia as the leading outdoor brand. You will be relied on to support seasonal initiatives, increase relevance with Columbia’s target consumers, and ultimately drive sales.
Within this role you will define, socialize, and influence the function of paid media within Columbia’s marketing mix. Here you’ll demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all paid media tactics across traditional and digital channels, and expertise in paid media, social trends, and cultural zeitgeist moments. You’ll use this knowledge to develop a point of view and influence senior leadership on how Columbia participates in the conversation. You'll be responsible for guiding mature processes and KPIs to promote consumer engagement.
