POSITION SUMMARY
Salesforce Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) Japan and Korea are part of the JAPAC region. REWS Korea is under the jurisdiction of REWS Japan. REWS Korea has multi functions with Facility Management, Operations and Events Management. The Supervisor, Workplace Services (WS) is a key member of REWS Korea. Under the direction of the Manager REWS Korea, the Supervisor will cooperate with team members to support or/and lead some of the workplace operation roles especially Events Management in Korea region.

The Salesforce REWS teams are assembled using a combination of local market skills and expertise, combined with Salesforce international global standards methods.

Salesforce is seeking a dynamic and experienced Workplace Services Supervisor to join our Korea team. This role is critical in running our office environment and ensuring that our workplace services are delivered to the highest standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities management and a consistent record in event management within a corporate setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of workplace services in Korea, ensuring a seamless experience for employees and visitors

  • Manage and implement corporate events from conception to completion, including coordination with vendors, handling budgets, and being responsible for on-site logistics

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workplace initiatives and improve employee engagement through events

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of office space for events, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
    Serve as the primary point of contact for all event-related inquiries and issues within the office

  • Provide mentorship on internal processes required for events including guest registration, security, vendor load in/load out

  • Manage accommodation customer facing meeting rooms to ensure our business conferences and training to be held successfully.

  • Ensure the accurate space set-up, vendor load in/load out and working order of all audio-visual equipment

  • Maintain positive relationships with building management and external partners to support event execution and workplace services

  • Ensure that all events are aligned with Salesforce’s brand and culture, delivering a memorable experience for attendees

  • Manage and maintain customer-facing meeting rooms to ensure the successful execution of business conferences and training sessions

EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Korean required

  • Business level writing and speaking English skills

  • 4+ years of experience in Real Estate, Facilities, or Workplace Services, with a focus on event management

  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale corporate events, including planning, budgeting, and execution

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and influencing cross-functional collaborators

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to creatively negotiate requirements
    Outstanding time management, communication, organizational skills and integrity required for executive-level meetings

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English
    Proficiency in using tech industry software packages and tools, such as Google Workplace, Slack, and other Salesforce platforms

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules

  • This is an in office position and considered working onsite, crucial

  • Excellent customer service and analytical skills are vital as is a personality that pays attention to details

  • A passion for events and a clear understanding of the hospitality industry

  • Adaptability to take on new roles and responsibilities as needed within the Workplace Services team

  • A strong sense of initiative combined with the ability to work collaboratively

  • Ability to work proactively, efficiently, and multi-task, while balancing priorities
