IQVIA’s Healthcare Provider Sales team is seeking a Solution Sales Director with proven healthcare data and analytics experience, who can effectively position a portfolio of SaaS software Solutions, analytics platforms, analytics, and data to both regional and national Healthcare (Hospital, Health System & IDN) clients. Using their savvy sales knowledge to identify, hunt new opportunities, qualify prospects, develop proposals, and close deals efficiently.

Qualified individuals must have prior sales experience successfully establishing long term relationships with hospital/health systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives new business opportunities for SaaS Software Solutions, analytics platforms, analytics, and data, providing the expertise and sales leadership to identify & qualify revenue opportunities, proactively manages the selling process, and closes the sale in both existing and new accounts for a large region.
  • Creates and presents client proposals that result in winning sales.
  • Achieves growth & revenue targets for assigned suites of the IQVIA offering through a consultative sales approach that solves client business issues.
  • An in depth understanding of the Hospital & Health System Marketplace, the sales, budgeting, and decision-making cycle, paired with previous experience selling to hospital marketing, strategic planning, and business development, plus the ability to translate client needs and use cases into product features, and provide a long-term growth strategy that drives value to the organization and adoption IQVIA solutions.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets; maximize profitability and financial performance by managing costs and customer pricing.
  • A keen understanding of prospecting and new business development techniques, including outreach strategies and tactics to procure net new meetings and secure new hospital logos. This is not an existing account management role. 
  • Guide account management, product specialists, solutions engineers, and the operations team on delivery of services to the hospital and health system.
  • The ability to understand hospital and health system use cases by department and relate those areas of need to IQVIA products.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be an excellent communicator and have experience working with all levels within hospitals, be a team player and lead by example.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Possesses knowledge of key marketplace issues for the pharmaceutical industry and related businesses.
  • US/Remote with up to 25% domestic travel required.
  • The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of Sales experience in the following areas:
  • Hospital & Healthcare Marketing & Physician Communication - a track record of sales success in driving market adoption of products and services in these nuanced markets.
  • Healthcare CRM & PRM, digital marketing, claims analytics & ROI measurement is a plus.   
  • Product Credibility: Possess the business skill and acumen to lead strategic meetings with key stakeholders within hospital systems, establishing credibility with buyers and demonstrating how the products and services will drive customer growth.
  • Omnichannel Marketing: a keen understanding of how strategic planning and business development departments approach provider communication and interaction across multiple channels to drive service line growth and net new referrals.
  • Product Strategy: Ability to create, manage and maintain a territory plan to accelerate new client growth.
  • The ability to bridge the gap between account management and delivery of services with the goal of maintaining and growing the existing account portfolio in the health system vertical.
  • Product Delivery: Experience working in an agile technical development environment.
  • Experience in selling to strategic planning and business development departments within hospitals is a plus.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $134,200.00 - $249,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
