Summary:

In this role, you will partner with Service Line Directors to provide sourcing and contracting support of products and professional service categories. You will utilize strategic sourcing practices and processes to achieve annual savings targets for member accounts. You will coordinate sourcing efforts including the development of the RFI / RFP, overseeing data analysis, and engaging the member teams throughout the sourcing process to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and analyze members' spend data to prioritize the implementation of contracts based on savings, quality, and technology opportunities.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for cost reduction through contract portfolio evaluation and custom contracting.
• Support the administration and negotiation of assigned contracts to achieve revenue influencing specific business and legal terms/requirements, pricing, and value adds.
• Collaborate with other portfolios to identify differences in member and supplier experiences.
• Build consensus and craft solutions for the member, suppliers, and Vizient to meet member's needs.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5 or more years’ experience in health care contracting and sourcing operations required.
• Strategic sourcing, supply chain, purchasing or materials management experience a plus.
• Knowledge of non-medical categories used in a health care environment desired.
• Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $127,600.00.
