Senior F-15 Korea Project Management Specialist

Boeing Global Services is currently looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist to join our team in Hazelwood, MO.

This position will focus on leading the execution of various small to medium size F-15 Korea, Boeing Global Services (BGS) scope, Modification and Upgrade Programs.  The candidate for this position may also be involved in supporting future F-15 Korea Performance Based Logistics (PBL) campaigns. These programs are either under contract today or future work, and span both Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS).

A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position includes direct work with Boeing Defense (BDS), as well as the United States Air Force (USAF) and Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages, develops, and motivates a team to ensure full stakeholder commitments are met on schedule and on budget
  • Understanding of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contracts
  • Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and peers
  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
  • Ensures compliance to contract deliverables
  • Performs analysis of cost and schedule performance and drives decisions for improvement
  • Act as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team.  Capable of effectively prioritizing and de-escalating issues with impacted parties
  • Understands and utilizes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Organizes and leads large scale proposal activities with functional partners
  • Demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable way

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Project / Program Management
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role leading a project, product, program and/or team
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality deliverables
  • Experience with and/or working with phase gate processes for product development
  • Willing and able to travel 35% domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Defense/Aerospace industry knowledge and experience
  • Experience with military platforms and military customer (US and/or Foreign)
  • Experience with execution of Aircraft Modification and Upgrades contracts
  • Knowledge of military Performance Based Logistic (PBL) contract execution and requirements

Summary pay range: $107,950 - $146,050
