Monitor existing automated processes and implement improvements to increase capacity, reduce scrap/reject rates, and enhance line safety using data-driven methods.
Execute equipment and process validations and document results through technical protocols and formal reports.
Perform failure analyses on automated production equipment (e.g., fault tree analysis, failure mode and effects analysis) and drive corrective actions to restore and improve performance.
Create and maintain operating procedures, standard work, and visual work instructions for automated equipment and process changes.
Train production teams on new automation and updates to existing equipment, and advance-train maintenance technicians and engineers who service automated systems.
Coordinate project execution by leading periodic design/project reviews, supporting capital expenditure requests, and managing supplier interactions and bidding activities with machine shops/equipment vendors.
