Overview

SentryKit is a leading app for Amazon FBA sellers serving subscribers across the North American and European markets. SentryKit provides timely critical alerts and notifications to merchants, brands, and agencies who manage Amazon e-commerce storefronts. 

The platform is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Mid-Senior Full Stack Developer to support the next phase of growth where the focus will be on feature development, feature enhancements, and market expansion.  The platform recently completed significant system upgrades to increase bandwidth, stability and speed. 

In this role, you will lead code development and platform maintenance working collaboratively with leadership, marketing, and customer success.  You will contribute to new feature planning, development of existing feature enhancements, debug code, and ensure the platform remains up to date with Amazon, Stripe, and tech partner changes.  You will work closely with front-end developers to maintain and enhance SentryKit’s internal reporting platform. 

 The successful candidate will demonstrate strong coding and project management skills, possess strong communication skills, demonstrate a problem-solving mindset and strong work ethic. 

 Location : Asia (Remote)

Responsibilities 

  • Support maintenance and development efforts for SentryKit and LTV Fund portfolio 
  • Help achieve the platform’s mission of building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing scalable software 
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle 
  • Write efficient, well-designed, and testable code 
  • Perform and report on necessary research and planning for software development 
  • Assist in producing technical specifications and determining operational feasibility 
  • Integrate software components into a cohesive software system 
  • Contribute to the development of software verification and quality assurance procedures 
  • Document and maintain software functionality 
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems 
  • Deploy programs and incorporate user feedback 
  • Comply with project plans and industry standards 
  • Ensure software is regularly updated with new features 
  • Perform other software-related duties as needed 


Required Qualifications 

  • Experience with developing interactive, customer-facing applications and websites; 
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and scalable web service API principles 
  • Experience with test-driven development 
  • Proficiency in software engineering tools; and ability to document requirements and specifications 
  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field; 
  • 5+ years of experience in a full-stack developer role, with a track record of delivering quality work in similar positions 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. 
  • 3+ experience in Java and Kafka 
  • Additional skills: MySQL, CSS, JS, NodeJs, Vultr Stack, Stripe: WordPress DevOps certifications are a big plus
