Join our team as an Industry Expert, where you will be responsible for shaping future strategies, assessing market fit, and leading successful market entry and expansion. You will define client use cases, lead market research, and collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and customer-facing teams to drive success. 

Your insights will play a key role in aligning NavVis’ innovative solutions with the needs of target industries, ensuring our continued growth and competitive edge in the market. 

 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • You will be responsible for discovering and analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and existing customer base from both hardware and software perspective 
  • You will get to support the interaction with clients globally to understand their innovation and technology needs via expert interviews and workshops  
  • You will also play a vital role in positioning our solutions in the market against the competition, including the definition of target customers and development of ROI cases 
  • You will work on testing 3rd party hardware and software products to create workflow documentation and collect competitive information 
  • You will work together with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, to set the market strategy, discover pilot prototypes and potential use cases  
  • You will also simultaneously work on educating prospects, customers as well as enabling your internal peers on best practices by standardizing and evangelizing product use cases 

 

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

  • MSc in architecture, civil engineering, or related engineering fields. 
  • Practical experience in the AEC sector, with a minimum of 2 years in either an architecture & engineering firm or a general contracting company. 
  • Working on AEC projects in roles such as architect, engineer, construction manager, or BIM coordinator 
  • Proficiency in CAD/BIM software and workflows – Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, or similar 
  • Experience in project/construction management software, e.g. ACC or Procore, RIB 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of file formats utilized in AEC software suites 
  • Experience with BIM projects and respective model coordination tools, such as e.g. Autodesk ACC or Revizto 
  • Experience working with survey data, including point clouds and 360-degree images across various software applications would be an added benefit
