Retail Banking Services (RBS) offers market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.  We are collections strategy and are a team that is responsible managing the credit risk for collections portfolio. 

Do work that matters:

We use data to inform and make decisions, aiming to balance revenue, losses and expenses. We work closely with the front-line teams, and the technology teams to implement and execute our strategies.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Perform data and analytics tasks that would help identify customers at risk of missing future payments on the bank’s retail products.

  • Partner with stakeholders from broad cross-functional teams to deliver our collections strategies to the frontline to execute on.

  • Collaborate with risk, compliance and business stakeholders to ensure that our strategy work is risk-assessed and compliant with relevant legislation.

  • Perform Ad-hoc analyses and deep-dives into specific problems with an analytical mindset.

  • Produce periodic reports and dashboards that provide insights and commentary for Senior Management and be able to articulate these insights clearly.

  • Proficiency in data manipulation and statistical analysis (SAS, SQL, R, Excel or equivalent).

  • A logical mind and an ability to break down a problem into simple steps and deliver clear solutions.

  • Prior experience working with decision engines is a plus but not required.

  • Ability to work with large data sets and understand interactions between relevant data.

  • Come from a Credit Risk analytical environment is a plus, but not essential.

  • Recently graduated with a Business-related degree (IT, Accounting, Analytics or Actuarial)
