We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Core Team, with experience in C# or Rust, who is passionate about developing high-quality, robust and secure software. The Core Team is responsible for mission-critical products at the heart of our system:

  • The internal protocol that ensures seamless communication across all system components (robots, ports, etc.).

  • The customer-facing interface.

  • Software for updating and deploying new versions to production.

Task and Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.

  • Take part in cross-functional projects within the Software Engineering team, driving the development of new features and enhancing existing functionality across the team’s products.

  • Work on the CubeDeploy software system, enabling customers to easily and securely deploy software and firmware on their AutoStore site.

You are a great fit for this role if you:

  • Bring around 10+ years of professional experience in software development using C# or Rust.

  • Would like to work with software ending up as a part of a physical end product.

  • Have experience in other languages like C++ and Python.

  • Got experience using tools like GitLab, Jira and Docker.

  • Enjoy working across multiple teams and parts of the organization.

  • Are a curious individual that loves continuous learning and improvement, with an engineering mindset that thrives solving complex problems.

Location for this role is in our offices in Oslo (Lysaker), Vindafjord (Nedre Vats) or Stavanger.
