We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join the team based out of Mumbai/Delhi!  As a member of the Marketing and Creative team, you will work from our India office covering Marketing. In this role, you’ll partner with the Sales, Product, Comms, GBX and Insights teams, to build and execute marketing programs. Snap India has been a cornerstone of Snap’s growth since 2019. Snap has made significant investments in localizing the app and has successfully built a highly engaged Snapchatter community in India. 

This position reports to the Head of APAC Marketing. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy for India, across B2B and B2C marketing.

  • Ideate, plan and execute high impact marketing programs.  This could include but not limited to activities across paid media, content marketing, partnerships, event sponsorships and owned events. 

  • Work closely with the Sales team to understand their needs and develop programs that support their efforts to engage with key targets.  

  • Collaborate with a variety of internal/external partners (Creative Strategy, Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Sales Ops, Legal etc.) to develop and manage market-leading programs and sponsorships.

  • Lead content development for case studies, videos and marketing collateral that demonstrate the value of Snapchat to clients, and develop scaled distribution plans (i.e. webinars, email, blog) under Snap’s brand positioning.

  • Identify and fuel new distribution channels to scale and amplify our marketing efforts (i.e. newsletter, Linkedin page, partnerships)

  • Work with the broader Marketing and Creative team to deliver global B2B and B2C activities and campaigns in the market where relevant.

  • Partner with Design, Creative, and external vendors to guide creative execution of deliverables and with Legal to ensure content approval in time

  • Optimize marketing activity based on results, identifying the right levels of investment behind successful marketing programs, content, and campaign performance

  • Responsible for the management of all purchase orders (POs), statements of work (SOWs), budget tracking, and related administrative tasks to ensure seamless and efficient operational execution. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications

  • 12+ years of relevant marketing experience developing and executing strategy, positioning and messaging for a brand or product in an advertising agency or marketing organization

  • Travel required for events as needed

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • An experienced marketing leader and self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, partnering with cross-functional teams, and problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. 

  • A track record of success in domestic or international marketing roles, building full-funnel advertising campaigns

  • Storyteller with experience translating insights, product information and data into client-facing marketing presentations that demonstrate client value

  • Experience driving operational excellence by managing performance measures, processes, and systems

  • A proven record for project and program management and cross-functional leadership

  • Experience guiding creative production of campaigns, printed collateral, presentations, websites, videos, and other marketing materials 

  • Experience negotiating and managing sponsorship agreements and execution of industry events.

  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance, and to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment 

  • A passion for Snapchat and belief in the value of creativity
