The Software Developer contributes to the full software development lifecycle—including design, development, troubleshooting, and implementation—of electronic tracking systems that support clinical trials. Working in close collaboration with senior developers, this role ensures that applications meet business and regulatory requirements in a timely and efficient manner. At C5 Research, a clinical research organization working with pharmaceutical companies, these systems are critical in facilitating FDA-regulated studies that support the approval and delivery of new drugs to patients.

Note on Cloud Technologies and Compliance:
While many developers today seek opportunities to work with cloud-based technologies, C5 Research’s applications are hosted on-premises due to strict data security and regulatory compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry. Although our team possesses cloud development skills, FDA regulations and industry standards drive a cautious approach to data storage. We recognize that this may differ from broader tech trends; however, our environment offers unique experience working within highly regulated systems that directly impact patient safety and public health—critical skills for developers interested in secure, compliant software development in healthcare and life sciences.
