Snowflake Data Warehouse
- Design & Develop: Architect, design, and implement scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions based on business requirements.
- ETL Development: Develop, test, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into the Snowflake environment.
- Data Modeling: Build and optimize logical and physical data models to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize the Snowflake environment for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability. Monitor and tune queries for high performance.
- Security & Governance: Implement role-based security, encryption, and other data governance protocols to ensure data privacy and security compliance.
- Automation: Automate recurring tasks and implement best practices for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using scripting languages like Python, Shell, or SnowSQL.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, BI developers, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Data Integration: Integrate Snowflake with various data sources such as cloud-based storage, relational databases, APIs, and external data providers.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of designs, ETL processes, and best practices to ensure continuity and clarity for other team members.

As an Application Support Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that involve identifying and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your typical day will include collaborating with team members to troubleshoot software problems, analyzing system performance, and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the applications run smoothly and meet the needs of the organization, contributing to a supportive and effective work environment.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of application support processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Document and maintain records of support activities and resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application functionality.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of applications.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience with SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and data integration solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
