Logan Health is looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Access Representative to join our dynamic team at Occupational Medicine/Employee Health. In this key role, you will not only provide excellent customer service but also collaborate closely with our Human Resources team to coordinate and facilitate pre-employment screenings for new hires, ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding experience

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate with Human Resources to schedule and conduct pre-employment screenings for new hires.
  • Gather and verify pre-employment information from candidates.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and external providers to schedule pre-employment drug tests and physical examinations for new hires.
  • Complete patient registration duties: Collect and validate accurate patient demographic and insurance information. Verify authorizations and referrals as required and data enter necessary information into registration system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service: Greet our patients warmly, gather essential information, and guide them through the registration process.
  • Navigate the complexities of healthcare insurance: Verify eligibility, determine patient responsibility, and explain financial obligations clearly.
  • Contribute to a seamless patient experience: Work collaboratively with our clinical teams to ensure efficient and timely patient flow.

What You'll Bring:

  • A passion for helping others: You're genuinely caring and enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: You're a confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • A keen eye for detail: You're accurate, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in healthcare: Experience in medical office settings, patient registration, insurance verification, or a related field is preferred.
  • A positive and can-do attitude: You're a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys finding solutions to challenges.
