We are seeking a Digital Product Manager who specializes in facilitating team adoption of digital tools, enhancing customer engagement, and integrating Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) into our data workflows. This role is ideal for an individual who combines a strong background in business analysis with a deep expertise in data querying, data visualization creation, data analytics, and the utilization of reference data.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for turning data into actionable insights and a proven ability to help teams embrace technological advancements. The successful candidate will be adept at nurturing customer relationships and will play a key role in guiding our organization through the digital transformation process, focusing particularly on the continuing of digitizing testing workflows.

The Digital Product Manager in this role will be instrumental in driving the acceptance and effective use of digital tools within the team, including ELNs, Data Lakes and reference data which are critical for improving data traceability and reproducibility. They will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external clients to understand business needs and workflow challenges, ensuring that digital solutions are tailored to meet these requirements. The Digital Product Manager in this role will lead efforts to build and maintain a digital thread across testing and data analytics, leveraging reference data to enhance analytical accuracy and insights, ensuring seamless data integration and accessibility. They will be mentoring junior Data Scientists in customer engagement skills and lead cross functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide training and ongoing support to team members and internal stakeholders on the use of digital tools, promoting continuous learning and development within the team.

  • Lead the implementation and effective use of digital tools within the team, Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs) and Reference data, to ensure smooth integration and adoption.

  • Leverage reference data effectively to enhance the accuracy and depth of data analytics, providing more robust and insightful analytical outcomes.

  • Oversee the maintenance of a digital thread across testing and data analytics, ensuring comprehensive integration and accessibility of data throughout combination product.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including DTI, Quality, and vendors, to develop strategies that align with organizational goals and ensure the seamless integration of digital tools.

  • Utilize and drive Agile project methodologies throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring flexible, efficient, and effective project management and implementation.

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements, tailoring digital solutions to meet these specific needs.

  • Provide leadership and expertise in data science initiatives, driving the development and implementation of data-driven projects and innovations.

  • Execute complex data queries to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources, ensuring the data is usable for detailed analysis and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Engineering experience OR

  • Associate’s degree and 8 years of Engineering experience OR

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Engineering experience OR

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of Engineering experience OR

  • Doctorate degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. or Ph. D. in engineering, Mechanical, Biomedical or Chemical

  • 2-3 years of experience driving the implementation and adoption of digital tools such as Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN), Data Lakes, and other relevant technologies.

  • At least 3 years of demonstrated experience engaging directly with customers to understand their technical needs and challenges, providing excellent customer service, and driving successful technology adoption.

  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, demonstrating proficiency in managing large datasets and extracting meaningful insights.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms and develop data-driven strategies that align with organizational goals.

  • High level of competence in SQL, Python, R, or other data manipulation languages.

  • Skilled in using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar, to create impactful data visualizations that communicate complex analyses clearly.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience managing projects using Agile to ensure flexible and efficient project delivery.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, guide, and motivate team members, along with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

127,014.00 USD - 155,264.00 USD
