Your impact.

As a vital part of the team, you’ll support a Relationship Executive managing a portfolio of diverse clients with complex lending structures, tailored to meet their bespoke financial requirements. You will undertake credit structuring for new applications while maintaining high risk hygiene within the portfolio. You will act as a mentor and advisor for your peers.

This role encompasses everything you love about ongoing credit risk and relationship management. Day-to-day accountabilities will include:

  • Writing, negotiating, and managing credit applications for new and existing clients.
  • Conducting due diligence, financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, and risk analysis.
  • Researching prospects and preparing pitch packs, complex papers, and discussion white papers.
  • Overseeing complex corporate banking transactions and mentoring analysts.
  • Driving quality, credit management, portfolio monitoring, revenue growth, and loss prevention.
  • Undertaking covenant monitoring and annual reviews.

 

What are we looking for?

  • A critical thinker with past exposure to Corporate Banking transactions, either within the banking industry or within professional and insolvency accounting environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and accounting fundamentals, with the ability to exercise commercial judgement.
  • Familiarity with complex lending and organizational structures.
  • Ability to interpret and assess balance sheet, profit & loss and cashflow statements.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write concise credit submissions with insightful commentary.
