This role can be located the Caribbean Banking Market or in Canada where the successful candidate resides

What is the opportunity?

In this role you will be responsible for the oversight of the operation and management of the Debit Card and Prepaid portfolios and Loyalty solutions for the cards business. You will be responsible for the applicable product P&L including planning, setting growth objectives, and managing key revenue drivers for line of business.  You will ensure debit, credit and loyalty strategy is aligned to International Cards & Merchant Services strategic priorities and achievement of growth targets and ensure applicable products are highly competitive to drive growth in target client segments. You will lead development of new capabilities expanding across policy simplification, product innovation, operational efficiencies, risk appetite and strategies to maximize portfolio and revenue growth.

What will you do?

  • Develop product strategies aligned to driving growth for the card portfolio and create applicable business cases and obtain approval to execute initiatives
  • Lead/Act as Sponsor Representative or Business Lead for prioritized card initiatives
  • Inform End to End (E2E) desired end state for the client and advisor experience, and collaborate with partners to ensure policies, processes, operational capabilities, and fulfillment are setup in a manner to deliver on the desired experience
  • Oversee reporting on key drivers of performance and monitor impact of product initiatives
  • Monitor internal and external environments and identify opportunities impacting cards
  • Ensure product alignment with the bank’s risk and compliance appetite
  • Lead direct team and develop team’s collective subject matter expertise, technical skills, and capabilities
  • Responsible for people leadership, employee engagement and talent management of team.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • University Degree and/or extensive related work experience
  • At least seven years of cards, payment, or recurring payments industry experience with demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing P&L
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture and build steps to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to effectively share ideas and capture the attention of your audience through different tools and tactics.
  • Possess enhanced business and financial knowledge to make better decisions.
