Assist in maintaining the highest level of cleanliness, organization, safety and production in the areas of responsibilities. Supervise staff of 15-25 at any given time and coordinating that staff to accomplish the work assignments that they are required to achieve and maintain the team at that level. This position requires a great deal of attention to detail. Assignments must be done within the specified time constraints. This person must have the ability to communicate, initiative, teamwork, and be prompt. People skills, internal/external customer service, and communication skills are mandatory. Ability to communicate with people within the department is necessary. Multitasking, clear penmanship (so work may be interpreted correctly), regular attendance, getting along with others, detail orientation, working a full shift, and the ability to work in a fast paced constantly changing environment are required.
Qualifications
Previous stewarding experience within a large volume hotel highly preferred.
Proven experience working in high-volume Food and Beverage operations preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent guest service skills.
Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written with team members, leaders and guests required.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
