Job Description:

Principal Accountabilities
Coordinate the deployment of all category strategies in accordance with the approved plan in conjunction with the Strategic Sourcing Category Lead and internal stakeholders.
● Communicate both verbally and in writing with vendors, internal stakeholders and business leaders.
● Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers to meet company sourcing strategies/needs (category, program, volume, and timing), in line with Arrow's strategy, by performing initial Vendor assessments (risk, maturity, capability and capacity).
● Obtain information from suppliers concerning product and/or service specifications, price, delivery dates, etc.
● Drive vendor onboarding activities including training and assistance in the utilization/management of the source-to-pay (S2P) platform.
● Track and manage vendor compliance with policies and contractual requirements.


Job Complexity
● Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience
● Entry level often for those with work experience in the skill area
● Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
● Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions


Experience / Education
Typically requires a 2 year degree and 2–4 years of experience or High school graduate with equivalent related experience. May require specific certifications.
