About the Team

Workday’s Corporate Communications team in EMEA is a collaborative, results-driven group that builds brand awareness and engagement around the Workday business across the region. We cover both external and internal communications in the markets in which Workday operates, enjoying working with different cultures and driving global business impact through compelling content that inspires and educates our audiences while instilling trust in Workday.

About the Role

Workday is seeking a highly organised and proactive EMEA Communications Operations Specialist to act as the operational backbone of our EMEA Corporate Communications team. This role is not just about keeping the lights on; it is about process optimisation and streamlining how we work.

You will be responsible for defining the operational rhythm of the team, managing our central resources, and establishing new methods for sharing best practices across the region. You will help ensure our team is set up for success by maintaining the central EMEA Corporate Communications Operations Hub – accessed by both internal and agency stakeholders – and managing the framework for open collaboration across this team.

This role is ideal for a specialist with at least 2 years of experience who enjoys connecting the dots, improving efficiency, and ensuring that our team and agencies have the operational support they need to execute seamless campaigns.

  • EMEA Corporate Comms Hub Ownership: Update and own the EMEA Corp Comms Resources to ensure the team and agencies always have self-serve access to the right materials. You will ensure all content, templates, headshots, bios, and briefing materials are easy to find and up to date

  • Process Optimisation: Identify and implement new ways to streamline, clarify, and optimise Corporate Communications processes. You will look for opportunities to make the team more efficient and reduce administrative friction, as well as owning reporting including with global systems like Public Relay.

  • Agency Enablement & Operations: Ensure our agencies and Regional Leads are set up for success by managing the central infrastructure. While Regional Leads drive the day-to-day strategy, you will ensure operations run smoothly by:

    • Owning and facilitating the quarterly Workday x Agency calls to ensure operational alignment.

    • Compiling and sending the "Week Ahead" updates to ensure agencies have the latest resources and news.

  • Team Communications & Cadence: Manage the "rhythm of the business" for the team. This includes managing the cadence and content of the weekly internal team calls and syncing weekly with leadership to align on priorities for EMEA Comms.

  • Best-Practice Sharing: Create and implement a new method to share key wins and best practices across the EMEA communications team, ensuring regional successes are visible and leveraged globally.

  • Event Operations: Support the Pan-EMEA lead in logistics and operations for major EMEA events, including Elevate, Press Trips, and Rising EMEA.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in communications operations, project management, or a similar coordination role.

  • Process-Oriented Mindset: You enjoy identifying inefficiencies and fixing them. You are comfortable creating new processes (like a best-practice sharing framework) from scratch.

  • Proactive & Creative Optimisation: You don't just wait for instructions. Once initial frameworks and projects are established, you proactively look for creative ways to add value, improve efficiency, and keep the team evolving.

  • Strong Organisational Skills: Experience managing document repositories, shared drives, and complex calendars.

  • Communication Skills: Confidence in managing team call agendas and coordinating with leadership on weekly priorities.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Docs) and virtual meeting platforms.

  • Experience in budget/contract administration or agency coordination is a strong plus.

  • Ability to work independently to move documents and set up new file structures (e.g., migrating from legacy drives to Workday drives).

  • A proactive attitude toward logistics, specifically supporting large-scale events or integrated campaigns.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
