Quetext is looking for an experienced operational leader to lead implementation and management of sales, service and marketing initiativesThis is a hands-on operator’s role that is responsible for increasing revenues, growing subscribers, and maintaining the platform’s stellar customer service ratings. 

Candidates in NYC and the EST time zone strongly preferred 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead cross-departmental day-to-day platform operations ensuring optimal team and platform performance across sales, operations, client success, and marketing 
  • Improve and expand platform workflows, processes and systems across all departments 
  • Continuously improve core health metrics including net sales, ARPU, churn, and LTV 
  • Expand and improve KPI development, tracking and reporting across all departments 
  • Support CEO’s growth initiatives by leading B2B sales efforts focusing on colleges, universities, secondary schools, and public-schools across the U.S.; attend industry trade shows as needed 
  • Support P&L management with a focus on optimizing revenues and cost-efficiency 
  • Lead agency and marketing team efforts spanning SEO, content marketing, social media, email marketing, website, sales collateral, and more to routinely test and improve performance 
  • Continuously evaluate, improve, and optimize customer success to improve user satisfaction  
  • Maintain a keen understand of the competitive market and regularly test pricing and packaging  
  • Work closely with development, marketing and project management ensuring new feature and product releases are of the well designed, of the highest quality, and rigorously tested 
  • Create a culture based on the core values of innovation, accountability, transparency, and grit 

Required Skills: 

  • A proven SaaS business leader; experience in the EduTech sector a plus 
  • A sales and marketing leader with experience working in fast-paced start-up environments 
  • An innovative problem solver with strong analytical skills and a collaborative style 
  • A motivated team leader with strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent listening skills 

 

Required Experience and Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 9+ years of management experience working in SaaS or technology 
  • 4+ years of management experience across sales, marketing and operations in SaaS or technology 
  • Team building experience; ability to create dynamic and collaborative cultures that produce results 
  • P&L management experience preferred 
  • Experience selling technology solutions to U.S. colleges, universities and secondary schools 
  • Knowledge of LMS ecosystem (e.g. Blackboard (Anthology), Canvas, Moodle, Clever) 
  • Experience leveraging and overseeing Stripe or similar payment gateways 
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills 
  • Experience working within CRMs (Hubspot preferred)
