Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the development process and serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. The position demands proactive engagement in coordinating efforts to ensure that applications meet the required specifications and function seamlessly within the intended environment. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables is a key aspect of the daily routine, alongside troubleshooting and refining solutions to optimize performance and usability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components by adhering to project timelines and standards.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to enhance efficiency and user experience.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and customizing SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and ability to optimize code for HANA database performance.
- Familiarity with SAP development tools and environments, including debugging and testing techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software design and implementation.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
