The Opportunity 

This position works out of our Almaty location in the EPD Division.

What You’ll Do 

• Carrying out accounting and business operations;

• Realization of reception and control of primary documentation; 

• Reflection on accounting accounts of operations on settlements with suppliers, accounting of fuel and lubricants and inventories, receipts under GTE and accounting of settlements with non-residents;

• Accrual and transfer of tax and other mandatory payments to budgets;

• Providing managers, creditors, investors, auditors and other users of accounting reports with comparable and reliable accounting information on certain areas of accounting;

• Preparation of data on the relevant sections of accounting for reporting;

• Control over preservation of accounting documents, their registration in accordance with the established procedure for transfer to the archive;

• Performing work on the formation, maintenance and storage of the database of accounting information, making changes to the reference and regulatory information used in data processing;

• Participating in the process of monthly closing of financial statements.

• Participating in general projects of the department and cross-functional units.

Required Qualifications:

• Higher accounting or economic education

• Experience in a similar position more than 5 years or more 

• Knowledge of English pre-intermediate level

• Experienced user of 1C, Excel 

• Teamwork

• Punctuality, accuracy, timeliness
