Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Sales Outreach & Pipeline Support

  • Assist in identifying and researching federal agencies, programs, and points of contact to support pipeline development.
  • Draft and support outreach communications to prospective federal clients under the direction of the sales team.
  • Help manage and update CRM entries, ensuring accuracy of contact information, activity notes, and pipeline status.

Market & Opportunity Research

  • Conduct research on federal contract vehicles, upcoming RFPs, and relevant public sector procurement trends.
  • Summarize competitive insights and help prepare briefing materials for senior leadership and sales calls.
  • Track industry news related to federal IT modernization, cybersecurity, cloud transformation, digital government, and managed services.

Sales Enablement

  • Assist with preparing decks, capability summaries, win themes, and other materials for federal proposals and sales conversations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to collect case studies, solution descriptions, and value‑prop components.
  • Support preparation for customer meetings, internal strategy meetings, and cross‑functional planning sessions.

Operational Support

  • Participate in team calls, strategy sessions, and federal sales stand‑ups.
  • Assist in coordinating meetings, capturing notes, and tracking next steps.
  • Help maintain internal knowledge repositories and organize sales collateral.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Government, Communications, IT, or related field.
  • Strong research and writing skills; able to synthesize information quickly.
  • Interest in federal government, public sector contracting, or IT services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting processes (FAR, contract vehicles, SAM.gov, etc.).
  • Previous internship or student project experience in sales, business development, or government relations.
