Platform Overview:

The Business Data Analytics Platform (BDAP) at LNRS is a comprehensive analytics platform that integrates various data sources, enabling sophisticated data analysis and reporting. BDAP supports decision-making across the organization by providing reliable, actionable insights. As the volume and complexity of data grow, ensuring data quality, security, and efficient data management within BDAP is crucial.

 

1. Project Title: Data Quality and Validation Enhancement

 

Background:

The BDAP platform is essential for LNRS’s data-driven strategy, providing accurate and timely analytics that drive key business decisions. To maintain the platform’s effectiveness, it is crucial to ensure the quality of data being processed. This project aims to enhance data quality by implementing robust data validation and monitoring mechanisms, thereby improving the reliability and integrity of analytics outputs.

 

Scope:

 

                •              Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current data quality standards within BDAP.

                •              Identify common data quality issues such as missing values, duplicates, and inconsistencies.

                •              Implement automated data validation rules using Azure Data Factory, focusing on data cleansing, normalization, and standardization.

                •              Develop Power BI dashboards to visualize data quality metrics and set up real-time alerts for significant data quality issues.

                •              Document the data validation framework and provide training for stakeholders on best practices in data quality management.

 

Skill Set:

 

                •              Knowledge of data quality principles and validation techniques.

                •              Experience with Azure Data Factory and Power BI.

                •              Basic programming skills (Python or SQL).

                •              Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
