Job Summary:
Senior Director/VP, Product Management - Industry Platforms & Services

We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused leader of Product Management to own the strategy, development, and commercialization of our cross-industry product portfolio. This leader will be responsible for creating products and assets that serve as the technology backbone for our managed services offerings, creating differentiated value for our clients and a competitive advantage for our consulting practices. The candidate if hired, will be building the engine that powers our human-led services, creating force multipliers for our delivery teams and driving non-linear growth for the business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision
Develop and champion a compelling product vision and multi-year strategy for a portfolio consisting of a combination of software platforms, industry specific accelerators and assets, managed services and AI/ML assets, and data products
Conduct continuous market analysis, customer research, and competitive intelligence to identify "white space" opportunities and threats across industries, within segments in the industry to identify where software products can be developed by Accenture to complement managed services and addresses the key pain points being felt by clients in each industry.
Accountable for developing a differentiated product roadmap and investment thesis with justifiable ROI for investing in the products.
Accountable for the P&L for the product with clear strategy to improve growth and margins based on differentiation and monetizable value to the client.
Define and articulate the unique value proposition of an "asset-led" services model, aligning product roadmaps with the firm's broader strategic goals and investment priorities across industries.
Present and defend the product strategy and business case to executive leadership, including Managing Partners and C-suite stakeholders.
Product Lifecycle & Execution
Lead a team of product managers and collaborate with industry teams, global engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver a world-class product portfolio.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation and discovery to launch, iteration, and end-of-life, employing agile and lean methodologies at scale.
Establish and enforce rigorous standards for product development, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
Prioritize ruthlessly, making data-informed trade-off decisions to balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic investments.
Maintain a consolidated product roadmap for key product domains, prioritize feature enhancements, develop a staged view of product enhancements/bugs from clients and curate what should be prioritized by engineering.
Commercialization & Go-to-Market
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Solution Architects, and Industry Leads to design and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy.
Develop innovative pricing and packaging models that align with value-based outcomes and seamlessly integrate into complex, multi-million dollar managed services contracts. The products should create drag for managed services that power front and back office transformation across industries.
Create and oversee the development of sales enablement materials, including training, product documentation, and client-facing collateral.
Define and own the key business metrics and product KPIs (e.g., adoption rate within engagements, impact on deal margin, client retention, time-to-value) and report progress to stakeholders.
Accountable for evangelization of our strategy and be client, industry event facing to communicate our value, differentiation and client successes
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of ownership, customer-centricity, and continuous learning.
Build strong, collaborative relationships across a highly matrixed organization, influencing dozens of stakeholder groups (e.g., industry practices, technology delivery, legal, finance) without direct authority.
Act as the primary evangelist for the product portfolio, effectively communicating the vision, strategy, and business impact to both internal and external audiences.
Establish robust feedback loops from client-facing delivery teams to ensure the product roadmap is grounded in the reality of service execution.
