The Project Management Analyst is responsible for supporting workflows and projects aimed at initiating, scoping and authorizing documents from clients. The Project Management Analyst will maintain relationships with vendors, clients and other athena teams to validate, triage and assign tasks to internal teams based on the clients’ requirements. This position reports directly to the Associate Manager, Project Management in Chennai.

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Analyzing and working on related work queues, including requests from clients for integrations with medical facilities and healthcare vendors, and moving the requests to the appropriate downstream teams
  • Communicating with clients, labs, hospitals, IT vendors, pharmacies and athena stakeholders to convey project status and timelines
  • Managing a high volume of projects and maintaining priorities
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of athenahealth’s healthcare transactions and how relationships between teams and their workflows influence complex problem solving
  • Scoping, analyzing and validating data for project requirements
  • Triaging Tasks / Projects to internal teams for further processing
  • Working on additional ad hoc projects as business needs arise

Education & Experience Required:

  • Graduate in engineering, science, or commerce stream
  • 1-3 years of work experience within the US health care framework
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to ensure substantial overlap with US-based teams (Evening/Night) shift timings

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Good communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with peers, stakeholders & clients across geographies
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience with MS Office Suite
  • Shows Job To Be Done (JTBD) curiosity and proven aptitude towards identifying and resolving problems
  • Comfortable in reaching out to stakeholders from multiple teams
  • Follows appropriate communication channels to provide regular updates to the team
  • Develops appropriate awareness of team goals. Plans daily work; Executes work according to SOPs
  • Participates in department and company culture
  • Develops new relationships with colleagues to support the diversity, collective spirit, and contributions of our people
  • Careful, detail-oriented, and in efficient in work
  • Comfortable identifying concerns with daily tasks and actively looks for ways to streamline processes
