About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in managing and tracking the agency's overall financial performance, contest and campaign budgets, accruals, and conducting in-depth financial analysis. Your responsibilities will include ensuring financial accuracy, providing insights to support strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage agency-wide budgets & project related expenses.
  • Monitor and track budget allocations, ensuring compliance with financial targets.
  • Maintain accurate accrual records and financial reporting.
  • Generate regular financial reports to provide insights into budget utilization and performance.
  • Responsible for calculation, validation and implementation of agent commissions, bonuses and compensation related payables and receivables.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analytical outputs.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the strategy and planning team to provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations that support the development and execution of agency-wide strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and long-term financial planning to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in financial operations to enhance strategic decision-making.
  • Support on ad hoc projects and reports related to Agency Strategy and Planning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks proactively.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • LCCI Level II or ACCA or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in Strategy or Management field is required.
  • Experience in financial analysis and control roles within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance industry financial practices and regulations preferred.
  • Solid experience as a data cruncher with proficient skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in other data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI & Tableau.
