Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Implementation Manager has ultimate responsibility for the successful implementation of new and renewal business, from new account set up to release of member level data including ID cards.  Additionally, they will work collaboratively and professionally with the implementation teams of carriers and vendors.  The ability to manage multiple implementations at one time and communicate effectively and efficiently with other internal departments and colleagues is critical to success. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Provides appropriate and required applications of coverage for each carrier/vendor to the Employer Group
  • Advises clients on how to correctly and efficiently complete required paperwork
  • Manages the employer-level enrollment integrations for all lines, including but not limited to, health, dental, ancillary coverages, voluntary coverages, PBM’s, FSA, HSA, virtual care providers, wellness vendors and clinical vendor arrangements
  • Submits correctly completed employer-level applications to carriers of choice
  • Manages employer groups and carriers/vendors to ensure a timely implementation
  • Manages calendars for any new vendors or enrollment vendor changes
  • Leads discovery calls with vendors upon confirmation of carrier/vendor selection
  • Leads implementation meetings and calls with employer group, carrier and vendor partners
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by consistent communication, follow up and timeline updates on implementation
  • Ensures timely and appropriate communications to account team
  • Champions process improvements and technology enhancements
  • Manages multiple tasks and implementations simultaneously
  • Manages off cycle implementations
  • Act as subject matter expert on carrier implementation requirements and data transfer requirements
  • Maintains Enrollment Implementation check list
  • Develops HRIS system and file transfer requirements list for preferred vendors
  • Shares industry trends noted from the RFP process
  • Manages relationship with vendors regarding implementation process

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Must be self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Must work well in a team environment

Education, Training and Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience with an insurance carrier, agency, brokerage firm, or enrollment vendor, required
  • Valid life and health insurance license, preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable in employee benefits, enrollment guidelines and systems, HRIS systems, technology, underwriting regulations, and legislation impacting the industry
  • Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft office products
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
