Kemper has an immediate need for a skilled and motivated Senior Systems Administrator. This role works as part of the Network Operations team.  This position is responsible for the MicroFocus Environment which includes maintaining the software installation, patching, and training, assist with building schedules and troubleshooting within the Control M tool. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the MicroFocus environment on Mainframe and distributed systems includes installation of software, patches, and upgrades. 
  • Secondary support of our Mainframe environment. 
  • Responsible for providing Attestation and audit reports. 
  • Contribute to various projects, following both traditional and agile project management methods.
  • Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in an information technology related discipline and/or 5 years related work experience
  • 3 years’ experience with MicroFocus infrastructure and setting up and troubleshooting of schedules
  • An understanding of  mainframe support
  • This is a hybrid position with chance of remote only.
