What will you do
As a Logistics and Distribution Analyst you will work closely with the Global Transportation Manager and the Global Performance Manager to drive key financial and operational KPIs. You will create and analyze reports to support the global freight spend analysis, and work cross functionally to ensure those costs are correctly assigned to the appropriate products and customers. You will be responsible for maintaining Sensormatic’s customer freight data. You will also work closely with the Global Performance Manager to enable KPI reporting across a number of global fulfillment operations, identifying outliers, and escalating opportunities to the L&D leadership team.
How you will do it
Work with key reporting and operational systems to gather the right data to support assigned analyses and process tasks.
Collaborate with sales partners across the business to maintain customer specific freight instructions and routing guides.
Review metrics, identify opportunities, and escalate those opportunities to L&D leadership for action.
Identify gaps in reporting and data, and provide inputs to the L&D Global Process Owner for prioritization.
Lead projects as assigned.
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in supply chain, preferably with a global company.
Knowledge of Oracle / JDE / Baan / Tranzact is highly valued. MS Excel is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language. Additional languages are plus.
Ability to spot trends and opportunities in data, and articulate observations.
Curiosity and initiative to seek out opportunities to improve performance.
Project management experience is a plus.
Occasional travel might be required in specific cases, such as training or internal audit.
