MediCard now boasts of more than half a million members and over 54,000 accredited doctors in over 1,000 hospitals and clinics nationwide. It also operates 16 MediCard free-standing clinics that provide services at par with those offered by hospitals minus the confinement.

MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:

Oversees the Infrastructure and Technology Operations Services covering MediCard's cloud, on-premise infrastructure, network, telephony, and as well as service desk management/ user L1 support.

Manages the day-to-day operations of the IT team, ensuring the availability and reliability of systems and networks, managing technology vendors, and implementing new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

Roles and Responsibilities

‍Leads a team of IT professionals in infrastructure and operations to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives and ensures regular upskilling to keep with updates in technology.
Oversees MediCard’s daily technology operations ensuring that systems and networks are running smoothly.
‍Develops and implements policies, procedures, and processes to improve technology operations and increase efficiency and productivity leveraging on IT service management best practices
‍Manages technology vendors and service providers to ensure that the Company’s technology needs are met.
‍Evaluates and implements new technologies and systems that improve IT infrastructure and support MediCard’s business goals.
‍Maintains a strong understanding of MediCard’s business needs and working closely with other functions / departments to ensure that IT is aligned with those needs.
‍Ensures that the IT operations policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory, industry and AIAPH / Group standards.
‍Manages the IT infrastructure and budget and ensuring that expenses are managed.
‍Assesses system performance and recommends improvements.
Provides support and guidance to stakeholders through the service desk and technical support teams and managing them through service level agreements.
Maintains and executes a robust incident management process to ensure that incidents are tracked, reported through a defined communication strategy, and resolved towards service level agreement targets
