JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have some fantastic opportunities, initially on a 12 month temporary basis, to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business, where as a global leader, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

As an Associate Clinical Specialist CRM you will undergo extensive training in order to be responsible for providing expert support, clinical consultation and guidance on the use of the Abbott CRM portfolio of products within the clinical setting in the assigned territory.

The UK CRM team have a strong track record for nurturing talented recent graduates into patient-focused clinical specialists, who ultimately provide exceptional in-procedure support to our customers and so we are now looking for enthusiastic graduates from within a relevant scientific discipline to join each of our regional teams, with one role available in each of these locations:

  • North/Scotland
  • London/South East
  • South West/South Wales

What you’ll do:

  • You will maintain up to date technical CRM knowledge of current and new Abbott therapies and technologies as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.
  • You will provide technical support and assistance to the sales force, physicians and allied professionals for CRM case support throughout (wherever possible) the assigned territory.
  • You will be able to analyse the technical characteristics of competitors’ devices and  products, promote the CRM product lines and assist with market penetration by providing expert technical customer support.

What you'll need:

  • Individuals will have a BSc in a science related degree e.g. Biomedical Sciences.
  • A willingness to travel 75% of the time within the assigned territory.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
  • Any prior work experience with medical devices of a similar nature would be fantastic, but is not a requirement - full training will be given.
