The candidate will support Client Relationship Managers in creating and delivering comprehensive financial plans for their retail clients. The specialist will complete data inputs in financial planning tools and document the recommendations provided by the advisors.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Operational activities:

  • Support Ameriprise Advisor Center financial advisors based to create comprehensive and compliant financial plans for their clients, at individual/household level
  • Data inputs in financial planning tools such as MoneyGuide, based on careful examination of clients’ financial documents and advisor inputs
  • Generate reports through approved planning tools
  • Upskilling oneself with financial planning concepts to help discuss/prepare plan strategies/ suggestions with advisors via phone or e-mail
  • Based on client’s financial situation, document advice in the required format shared by the advisors
  • Perform activities involved in preparing detailed financial plans within the defined turnaround time and quality metrics
  • Able to manage advisor relationships and discuss plan strategies either on Teams or via email

Client outreach functions:

  • Assist clients in data gathering for FP through emails

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5years of experience in financial domain with graduation/ post-graduation in finance discipline
  • Good communication skills - Proven written and oral communication skills with client service orientation
  • Must have an eye to detail with high accuracy levels
  • Ability to meet strict timelines per the agreed SLAs for advisor practice
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team structure
  • Willingness to go for licensing certifications as and when needed in future
  • Willing to work evening hours: preferred shift 6:30 pm to 3:00 am IST

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer-based interactions roles both written and verbal will be an added advantage
  • Experience of interacting with financial advisors will be preferred
  • Exposure to financial products like mutual funds, insurance, retirement services, etc. would be an added advantage
