PickNik is changing the robotics industry through its MoveIt Pro Software Platform. MoveIt Pro is an open core product based on MoveIt (Open Source) used by 1000s of companies worldwide.  PickNik specializes in robotics solutions that allow robots to go into unstructured environments and perform difficult tasks. MoveIt Pro was generally released in late 2023 and already we have significant customer momentum including BMW, Lockheed Martin, NASA, and many startups. PickNik is seeking a collaborative and assertive Customer Success Manager to ensure that our customers’ robots reach production and get out into the world.  This will require a high level of curiosity about customers, a natural ability to bridge relationships, tenacity to understand customer use cases and needs, and then strong communication skills to bring those needs back to the team and ensure success.   The ideal candidate for this role is not only  someone with experience in customer success and an aptitude for learning about technical topics, but also a manager or director level person who can stand up our customer success program as an individual contributor then be ready to hire the team reporting to him or her as we grow. 

Key actions include talking to customers during all stages of robot implementation, travelling to visit customers, building relationships, and driving success across departments within PickNik.

What you'll be working on:

  • Talk with customers to understand their needs
  • Collaborate with roboticists and engineers on customer delivery
  • Follow up politely but tenaciously with customers to ensure their success
  • Assist with proposal writing for new work and follow on engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Business, Communications, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 5+ years in a customer success role in software or robotics
  • Very strong communication skills to navigate both internal and customer-facing conversations
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Microsoft equivalents
  • US residency (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).
  • Live in the Boulder/Denver area and ability to be in-office minimum 2-3 days per week.

Colorado Residents Only: In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum range for this role is $100,000 plus benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
