The Role:
We are seeking a Specialist Physician Scheduler who will be responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules of specialist physicians across multiple locations. The scheduler will act as a liaison between physicians and clinic operations to ensure optimal patient care and efficient use of physician time.
This is a full-time position scheduled between Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. This is a hybrid position with both on-site at our downtown Toronto office and remote based workdays.

What You’ll Do:
Building the specialty service schedules and maintain these daily by working with the providers to collect their schedules and time-off requests
Create and communicate monthly, quarterly and seasonal schedule to all specialist physicians.
Continuous communication with physicians for switches, changes, and revisions to their schedule.
Collaborate with the internal bookings team on doctor availability, cancelations, and complex care issues.
Assist with service recovery, handling overbooking allocation in our systems (Accuro EMR and Salesforce)
Communicate daily physician availability to clinic flow coordinators.
Collaborate with clinic managers on capacity, physician booking issues, and other issues demanding escalation.
Provide physician onboarding support as needed
Ad-Hoc projects or requests and other additional administrative duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
Minimum 2 years of medical office or hospital administrative experience
Experience scheduling physicians or allied health professionals an asset
Experience with Salesforce and/or Accuro EMR is a plus
Sound knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
Strong time management and organization skills
Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills
Exceptional client service skills

Ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment
