Working under direct supervision, the Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for accurately and efficiently leading the company’s accounts payable process to ensure timely recording of all invoices/credits and its payment. The AP Analyst will survey all general expenses and identify cost saving initiatives in alignment with the department’s goals & KPI’s. Employees in this position may interact with their leader several times a week, to receive guidance and feedback. Most non-routine activities may require their leader’s advance approval, but routine decisions within the general scope of the role may be made independently.


 

  • Monitor AP inboxes to ensure all invoices are received into AP system without errors.
  • Alongside the Team, manage 2000+ active vendor accounts as it relates to AP.
  • Review and process high volume of invoices through a 2 way or 3 way match and validate proper account coding and classification before routing out for payment approval.
  • Reconcile vendor aging statements on a weekly/monthly basis to keep portfolio of accounts in good standing.
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders involved to resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders and receipts.
  • Provide weekly report and analysis for invoices with discrepancies to the warehouse team and logistics team.
  • Assist in month-end close, year-end close through accruals &/or other journal entries.
  • Support with audit related requests and analysis as needed.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned.
