Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Outreach Manager to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives that enhance NTU’s brand visibility and student recruitment efforts in key international regions. This role requires strong expertise in regional marketing, agency management, and market development to drive outreach and engagement in a competitive higher education landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Marketing Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and outreach strategies to promote NTU's Graduate programmes (Coursework) in targeted international regions (e.g., Southeast Asia, Middle East, South Asia, East Asia).
Align campaigns with institutional goals, audience insights, and regional trends to maximize brand visibility and impact.
2. Agency Management
Manage relationships with appointed marketing agencies in overseas markets.
Set performance metrics, monitor deliverables, and ensure alignment with NTU’s brand and messaging standards.
Evaluate and renew agency partnerships based on market performance and ROI.
3. Market Diversification & Development
Identify and assess emerging and underrepresented student markets to expand NTU’s global reach.
Recommend new initiatives and partnerships to diversify NTU’s recruitment sources and strengthen engagement with prospective students and stakeholders.
Conduct market intelligence and competitor benchmarking to inform strategic decision-making.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Work collaboratively with NTU colleges and schools, admissions teams, and international offices to support recruitment goals.
Represent NTU at international education fairs, webinars, and stakeholder meetings when required.
Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, International Relations, or related fields.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, international recruitment, or outreach, preferably in the higher education or education services sector.
Proven track record in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and agency partnerships across diverse regions.
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to travel regionally for work-related assignments.
Preferred Skills
Experience in digital marketing, CRM, and data-driven recruitment strategies.
Familiarity with regional education systems and student mobility trends.
Multilingual ability or regional cultural awareness is a plus.
