Our IT Enterprise Applications is seeking a motivated student from a reputable university in the US to join our team and contribute to enhancing the UI/UX design of our enterprise applications, develop/test the applications Integrations, as well as assisting with application design and project management.
  • Gather business requirements, analyze the process, provide conceptual and detailed design to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX design team to enhance the user interface and user experience of our enterprise applications.
  • Assist in the development and testing of application integrations to ensure seamless functionality across platforms.
  • Contribute to the design and prototyping of new application features and enhancements.
  • Document and report bugs and issues found during testing and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support project management activities, including task tracking, documentations, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, daily standup call and design reviews to contribute ideas and insights.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication, vision, and interpersonal skills, detailed knowledge of methodology and tools, plus strong analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and principles.
  • Good understanding of SOAP and REST APIs, including their principles, differences, and use cases.
  • Knowledge of XML and JSON data formats commonly used in API interactions.
  • Ability to work with API documentation and specifications to integrate systems effectively.
  • Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and basic authentication for securing API endpoints.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Java, JavaScript, XSLT or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a reputable university in the US, Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills required to interact with colleagues and internal customers.
  • Time management and organizational skills, adaptability, and flexibility to manage changing project requirements, attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Good understanding of agile methodologies, process and change management tools and techniques (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Experience working with Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Confluence and ITSM ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
  • Bilingual (English, Chinese) preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams who are in global locations and varying time zones.
