 The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for all HR-related activity and will play a critical role in the Plant Leadership Team leading the site People Strategy in support of delivering key business results.  This position is responsible for developing the long-term HR strategy, and is the key Company interface with the employees.  The HRBP will lead the site in effectively executing and implementing Company processes for talent reviews and leadership development, recruitment, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, payroll, policy implementation, and contract negotiations.   

This role will be responsible for hiring and staffing a new factory; creating an onboarding and training schedule for new employees; and creating and maintaining relationships in the area. 

  • Implement team and organizational design solutions. Drive ongoing engagement activities. 
  • Collaborate to ensure all employees are aligned effectively to benefit the site; act as a true business partner to all employees. 
  • Participate in business planning and ensure alignment of HR delivery to business goals at the site. Deliver the HR Strategy for the attainment of Company objectives 
  • Support managers and teams in business delivery by enhancing capabilities to deliver objectives, manage people, implement change, and build relationships. 
  • Further World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and HR for Factory strategy, particularly training, learning, and educational strategy. 
  • Utilize talent development process and tools to provide and develop diverse talent pipelines for short and long term needs.  
  • Act as a people advocate and bring HR insight on all people related issues. 
  • Contribute to a broader North America (NA) Supply Chain Operations team and bring curiosity to drive continuous improvement across the site, network and brother business. 
  • Demonstrate awareness of, utilize, and keep up to date on available resources to deliver business objectives. 
  • Establish and maintain positive employee relations. 
  • Other projects and duties as assigned. 
  • Education. BA/BS required or 10 years’ experience in similar role.  
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Manager or in a leadership role, driving results through employee engagement 

Experience Required:  

ESSENTIAL: 

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Experience with Change Management as well as coaching line managers. 
  • Knowledge and delivery of Continuous Improvement and/or applicable methodology. 
  • Act a strong business partner to the Factory Director and team members. 
  • Strategy development and execution. 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence others. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to build collaborative relationships and networks with multiple and diverse stakeholders. 
  • Familiarity with national and local legislation. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Ability to continuously seek improvements in HR policies and evaluate current processes for increased efficiencies. 
  • Ability to drive change and innovation by gathering knowledge and resources to ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. 
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict while creating an inclusive work environment. 
  • Experience navigating and using an HRIS system, such as WorkDay, SuccessFactors, or similar. 
  • Must be able to travel domestically up to 10% of the time. 

PREFERRED / DESIRABLE:  

  • Experience leading in a manufacturing (or similar) environment.
