Associate/Vice President, Global Markets Sales, Asia Pacific

As part of our fast-expanding FI franchise in Asia, we are seeking a highly-motivated institutional sales to support the growth of our institutional fixed income franchise in Hong Kong. The role will be responsible for developing and managing relationship with Hong Kong-based institutional investors, promoting the firm’s global fixed income capabilities and identifying investment opportunities aligned with clients’ objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and Managing relationship with Hong Kong-based institutional investors including banks, asset managers, security firms, insurance, official institutions and etc.

  • Serve as a trusted partner to institutional clients by providing timely market insights and updates as well as understand clients’ investment and risk management objectives.

  • Market and distribute the firm's fixed income products, strategies and solutions aligned with clients’ objectives.

  • Collaborate with Trading, Structuring,  Legal, Compliance and Operations to deliver the financial results on both individual and team level as expected.

  • Comply with internal compliance policies and risk control protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or a related discipline.

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Global Markets, Fixed Income or Institutional Sales.  Candidates with more experience may be considered for Vice President level.

  • Solid knowledge of global markets, in particular FX, rates, and credit.

  • Established relationships with HK-based institutional investors would be advantageous.

  • Strong client management, communication and business development skills.

  • Team player with strong commercial acumen and regulatory awareness.

  • Native in Cantonese and fluent in English and mandarin.
