Within the Performance Materials Division we are looking for a qualified and motivated
This position can be based in Niederlenz, Weingarten or Stuttgart.
Tasks:
Manage the Product Catalogue and develop the product strategy as a project
manager for all Products within the Performance Materials Division and related products in the Service Division
Coordinate and align product strategy with Food, Health and Nutrition Division where applicable
Responsible for bringing development requests and product requirements to the shared development team (across all product categories, where possible).
Plan, coordinate, and manage all the product strategies in accordance with established Company policies, procedures and objectives.
Reduce complexity of the product portfolio and driving standardization / modularization
Create customer value by understanding the business of the customer, the market segment, the competitive landscape for the product and the underlying economical macro trends
Owner of Product Roadmaps
Optimizing of existing products and the product catalogue in terms of markets demands and sales strategy
Close cooperation with R&D, BU and other Shared Services (Engineering,
Operations, GSM)
Align all technologies from Coperion
Cooperation with sales for customer relationship and development of new customers
Cross Divisional cooperation for new Coperion products and development of the new Coperion products
Develop and deliver technical presentations and publications aimed at
promoting Coperion to customers, trade organizations, technical societies and other appropriate groups
Initiating of RD activities and patents to protect Coperion know-how and objections of competitor patents
Cross-technical product strategy function for the Division Performance Materials and Service-related products
Profile:
Master´s degree in engineering from a college or university is required
Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or related major preferred
Several years related experience of Product management
Expert in good analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, presentation and management skills
Ability to train and coach employees
Employee must be able to travel to customers or Coperion entities on an as needed basis (expected 10 - 20%).
This needs to coordinate the colleagues from the process team
