We are seeking a professional that is passionate about solving issues from a business and customer service perspective and has solid understanding in contracting and compliance details.

Note: Internally this role is known as Advisor Contracting Support & Compliance.
Advise Industrial Market Development (IMD) Sales team on various contract related questions. Requires in-depth knowledge of rate schedules and internal policies.
Accountable for the review and compliance of Distribution and Direct Purchase contracts prior to delivery to customers – it is critical that contracts are accurate, compliant and the appropriate internal groups have been advised.
Assist the Team Lead in the coordination of the Contracting and Compliance group’s work (distribution and direct purchase) to ensure high priority work items are completed in a timely manner, prior to deadlines.
Develop non-standard distribution contracts. Work with multiple groups, including IMD, Credit, Engineering, and Legal to identify risks.
Lead or assist with projects related to the IMD contract market.
Respond to intensified contracting and compliance inquiries from Large Volume customers and Account Managers.
Provide guidance to Contract Support and Compliance Clerks.
Create and Maintain department process and policy documents.
Liaison with TIS on Contract Business Systems
You have the following education and experience:
Related university degree or diploma, e.g. in Business/Math, and minimum of four or more years of experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification, and experience.
Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite) and familiarity with database concepts, query tools and general business applications.
Ability to perform multiple work assignments at varying stages of completion with a high degree of accuracy while working to tight time constraints and changing priorities.
A broad understanding of or ability to quickly learn the direct purchase and distribution contracting business to apply strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills to resolve issues within the confines of the regulated business environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others and negotiate.
Strong professionalism, communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision and get results on your own.
Proficient in writing business communication to external clients & customers
Strong understanding of the Natural Gas industry
Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate and manage change
Ability to establish and maintain good customer and vendor relationships.
Understanding of contract administration, customer billing and/or financial systems.
Understanding of Entrac, ECM, SAP CIS, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word.
Understanding of Large Volume Contract language and rates.
Demonstrated front line customer service/contact experience.
Experience in the natural gas and/or utilities market.
