Team and Context: 

Book of Record is a team part of the Product Development Division (PDD), responsible for designing and supporting our Book of Record, which represents the unique position of a financial organization and is the foundation at the heart of the MX.3 platform. You will be working alongside other financial engineers/consultants, product experts, developers and quality engineers to evolve the book of record, to provide the financial position to business solutions.  

As a Senior Product Owner, you will contribute to the continuous evolution and improvement of our Book of Record. You will have the opportunity to work with consultants and developers in a dedicated agile team, working with the SAFE methodology.  You will manage a backlog of incoming requests including the feedback from production, collaborate with different stakeholders and subject matter experts to groom and prioritize the backlog, plan the execution strategy and follow-up the execution until delivery.  

What you will do:

  • Responsible for writing, refining, and prioritizing user stories and ensuring the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all 
  • Determine the order in which the backlog items should be tackled based on business value, dependencies, and stakeholder needs 
  • You will help specifying the implementation and take specifyng functional design choices
  • You will drive the testing plan of the implemented features, corresponding with the quality assurance domain to automate these tests
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed requirements 
  • Act as the primary communicator between stakeholders and the experts, ensuring that everyone is aligned on goals and priorities 
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings to help the team understand the priorities and the requirements of the backlog item and manage the constraints within the team (e.g. training, and other commitments)  
  • Attend sprint reviews to provide feedback on the product increments and ensure that they meet the acceptance criteria 
  • Review and accept or reject completed work to ensure it meets the required quality standards and delivers value 

Who you are:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience ideally in the software industry
  • Knowledge of Murex ecosystem and data management is a plus
  • Passionate about technology and financial markets
  • Skills in handling communication with international teams
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel and adapt to eventual urgencies.
  • At ease working autonomously or as part of a team
  • At ease working in an agile environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
