Job Description

Essential Functions
- You will Develop new subsystem designs or contributes to existing ones, ensuring they meet established requirements.
- You will Establish timelines and determine the resources needed to build a design. Consider tradeoffs between requirements, speed, cost, reliability, and maintainability in the choice of a design approach.
- You will Provide progress reports.
- You will Implement and documents production‑quality code that meets software design requirements, applying modern development tools, including AI‑assisted coding and analysis tools, to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- You will Use AI tools to support activities such as code generation, refactoring, documentation, defect analysis, test creation, and troubleshooting, while ensuring correctness, security, and maintainability of the final solution.
- You will Develop Experience reviewing code to find and address potential issues and defects unit test plans. Report, debugs, and corrects anomalies, applying AI‑assisted techniques to accelerate root‑cause analysis.
- You will Help integrate components within subsystems, solving problems to produce a cohesive final product.
- You will Lead reviews of requirements, designs, code, test cases, and user documentation, including validation of outputs generated with AI assistance.
- Estimates, plans, develops test suites, test cases, and automated tests to ensure appropriate functional test coverage is attained.
- You will Ensure documented test cases and specifications validate documented software requirements.
- You will Perform product testing, reporting problems encountered and documenting test results for follow‑up.
- You will Determine the origin and cause of anomalies identified, using data‑driven and AI‑assisted analysis techniques where beneficial.
- Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of one or more software subsystems.
- You will Identify and recommend improvements in software development practices, development tools, test automation, and responsible use of AI to improve developer productivity and software quality.
- You will Think outside the box and research new tools, and standards—including AI‑based development aids—to overcome technical obstacles.
- You will Learn and understand complex control system concepts and apply software best practices to those domains.
The essential - You have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Five to eight years of experience in a software product development environment.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
Minimum five years of experience in product development using Microsoft technologies such as MFC/C++, .NET/C#, and WPF; knowledge of industrial automation software.
- You have Experience in software development using object‑oriented programming (OOP) principles, including inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation; practical knowledge of design patterns
- You will have experience using Visual Studio and related development tools such as source control, debugging, and profiling tools; excellent debugging and problem‑solving skills
- You have experience application of data structures and algorithms
- Practical experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., code assistants, test generation, documentation aids, defect analysis tools) as part of daily engineering work
- You will Critically evaluate and validate AI‑generated outputs to ensure correctness, security, performance, and compliance with engineering standards
- You will apply basic knowledge of automated test tools and software test methodologies
- Direct experience collaborating with local and global technical development teams
