Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Performs cycle counting duties to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Assists all warehouse pullers and other material handlers locate materials.
  • Assists in updating quantities, locations, and weights for all materials in the SAP system.
  • Analyzes cycle counts for variances in quantities counted versus quantities on hand.
  • Researches inventory discrepancies and submits accurate inventory and bin location reports.
  • Develops solutions for inventory issues.
  • Logs discrepancies as turn backs.
  • Uses computer systems to inquire and retrieves necessary documents for inventory needs.
  • Sets up new locations/remove obsolete locations.
  • Assists with annual physical inventory.
  • Completes transactions associated with inventory control.
  • Receives, stocks, ships, and performs other warehouse duties, as needed.
  • Operates material handling equipment, including a Drexel and Forklift.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Professional experience:

  • General computer skills required; Excel a plus.
  • Ability to develop and analyze inventory reports.
  • Problem-solving abilities and analytical skills., including strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to identify parts from drawings.
  • Ability to communicate with other departments.
  • Must successfully complete DOT HAZMAT training.
  • Must successfully complete Drexel and Forklift training; maintain ability to operate this equipment.
  • Willingness to flex to other areas as business needs dictate.
