Summer Intern Program duration: June 1 – August 7, 2026.
Job Description
The Inclusion & Belonging Intern will support the Inclusion & Belonging (I&B) team during the summer by assisting with initiatives that promote an inclusive, respectful, and connected workplace. This role provides hands-on experience in inclusion, and belonging programming, data organization, communications, and event support.
The intern will collaborate closely with the I&B team and Business Resource Groups (BRGs) to help advance key projects, support engagement efforts, and contribute to meaningful work that impacts colleagues across the organization. This internship is ideal for a student or early-career professional interested in human resources, inclusion, communications, data analysis, or organizational development.
Key responsibilities for the role:
Support Inclusion & Belonging initiatives, programs, and summer priorities
Assist with Business Resource Group (BRG) coordination, including:
Membership tracking and data organization
Event preparation and follow-up
Communications support
Help organize and maintain I&B data, reports, and tracking documents (Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
Assist with preparing presentations, meeting materials, and internal communications
Support planning and execution of inclusion-related events, meetings, and awareness activities
Conduct research on inclusion and belonging best practices, trends, and benchmarks
Assist with documentation, process improvement, and program evaluations
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and insights
Complete special projects as assigned that align with the intern’s skills and learning goals
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Inclusion concepts, BRGs, or colleague engagement initiatives
Experience with data cleanup, reporting, or dashboards
Experience with presentations, newsletters, or internal communications
Comfort working in a corporate or professional environment
Location: White Plains, NY (On-Site/Hybrid)

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements for Interns:
Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry
Resourceful, enthusiastic, and proactive
Highly organized
Demonstrated strong attention to detail
Experience creating and delivering presentations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to learn quickly and solve problems
Strong analytical skills
Collaborative and inclusive team player
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
The estimated hourly rate for this position is $21.00/hr. to $23.00/hr. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
