What will you be doing:

As a Data Governance Offer Lead, you will be at the forefront of our data acceleration initiatives. You'll be responsible for orchestrating successful data governance projects, leveraging Informatica, ensuring timely and effective project delivery, enhancing data acceleration offerings, and nurturing a high-performing offshore team. Key responsibilities are:

• Project Delivery Excellence:
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of Data Governance projects, from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with onshore and client teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Lead a team of offshore experts, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to offshore team members.

• Offer Development:
• Support RFP and proposal processes, highlighting our unique value proposition.
• Collaborate with global leadership to expand our offshore capabilities and to develop compelling data governance solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
• Candidate validation and upskilling:
• Recruit and hire talented data and AI professionals in the offshore region.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and fit with our team culture.
• Mentor and develop offshore team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

What are we looking for:

We’re looking for forward-thinkers and “quick studies” who are poised to make impact, are ready to help our clients in their digital and data journeys, and will help to position Artefact at the forefront of innovation and disruption. As someone who will help build our India office from the ground up, we need a leader who’s naturally curious, independent, team-oriented, and eager to learn. We’ll give you the tools and training to be successful, and you’ll come armed with the following:

• 8+ years of experience in data governance, data management and related fields
• Extensive hands-on experience in deploying data governance solutions using Informatica Professional Services (IDMC, Informatica Cloud, IICS, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of data quality management, data profiling, data lineage, metadata management.
• Exposure to data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices. 
• Proven track record in leading high-performing teams and delivering measurable results.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management in a remote setting.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
